Fenix A320 family pack - for CTC Aircraft Maintenance
Your Fenix A319 / A320 / A321 remembers: part wear that sets real Fenix failures, tech log, MEL and checks - verified live in the Fenix.
Version 0.9.1
by ClearedToCode
Requirements
- CTC Aircraft Maintenance 1.0 or later (the free PMDG Hangar does not load packs). - The Fenix A320 family (A319 / A320 / A321) for MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024, with the Fenix running. - Windows 10 / 11.
About this add-on
Load a Fenix A319, A320 or A321 and CTC Aircraft Maintenance recognises it from the sim's aircraft title, picks the variant and opens an airframe with everything the app does: tech log and MEL, part wear, scheduled checks, MCC, documents, illustrated parts, flight records and the diagnostics tablet, drawn for the A320 family. - **Six variants**: A319, A320 and A321, each with CFM56-5B or IAE V2500 engines, picked from the Fenix title. Livery titles without an engine name open as the CFM variant of that type. - **Real Fenix failures**: when a part wears out, the pack sets the matching failure in the Fenix itself. That's 76 part types, from engines, IDGs, hydraulic pumps, the PTU, fuel pumps and brakes to ADIRUs, FMGCs, display units, bleed and pack valves. 14 of them give an early warning first (vibration, IDG oil pressure, reservoir level, pump overheat) before the part fails. - **Clears it again** when you fix or replace the part in the app. Every set and clear is checked against the Fenix's own failure list. - **A320 flight-control computers** as parts with their own MEL items: ELAC 1-2, SEC 1-3, FAC 1-2, SFCC 1-2, BSCU 1-2 and the SDCU. - **Fire and smoke events** (opt-in) use the Fenix's own failures: engine and APU fire, lavatory, cargo and avionics smoke. - **GREEN / BLUE / YELLOW hydraulics** at 3,000 psi with the PTU, the RAT and the electric pumps on the Systems page. - **Five fuel tanks**: left and right outer, left and right inner, and centre. - **Two-wheel main gear** with four braked wheels: tyre tread and pressure, brake wear pins and brake heat per wheel. - **ECAM wording and CONF flap labels**, plus an A320 top view sized for the A319, A320 or A321 and CFM56 or V2500 engine drawings. - Checks: daily, weekly, A-check every 750 FH, C-check every 7,500 FH. A used airframe is built from 3,200 flight hours and 1,600 cycles a year. ## How it talks to the Fenix The Fenix runs its aircraft systems in its own program outside the sim, so its failures can't be reached through SimConnect. The pack uses the Fenix's own built-in failure interface on your PC, the same one the Fenix EFB's failures page uses. It needs nothing extra: no MobiFlight, Lorby, SPAD or FSUIPC. - The **failure scan** on the Setup page reads the Fenix's full list of 384 failures, so the app knows exactly what your version of the Fenix has. - Failures the app sets show up in the Fenix EFB's failures page and on the ECAM like any other Fenix failure. - The app never touches failures you set yourself in the EFB, and it never uses "clear all". - Tested live on 2026-10-14 in MSFS 2024 with the Fenix A319: the scan read all 384 failures, and a failure was set and cleared from the app and confirmed in the Fenix EFB. ## Good to know - Pack version 0.9.0. Weights, limits, part lives, check intervals and prices are estimates based on the real aircraft, marked "estimated" in the app. - Which main tyre each Fenix tyre-pressure failure stands for, and the mapping of the five tanks to the sim's tank slots, are best guesses until confirmed on more flights. - The Fenix exposes no wear readings (oil, tyre or brake wear), so wear comes from the app's own model of how you fly. - A used fire bottle is written up in the tech log; the Fenix has no "bottle discharged" failure to show it in the cockpit. - At cold and dark the Fenix reports its IRs as not aligned; the pack knows that's normal and doesn't log it as a defect. ## Install 1. Buy and download `CTC-A320-Pack-fenix-0.9.0.amm` from clearedtocode.com. 2. In CTC Aircraft Maintenance open **Tools › Aircraft packs**, press **Install .amm** and pick the file. The app checks the pack's signature and lists it. 3. Load the Fenix A319, A320 or A321. The app matches it and opens the airframe, or lets you start it as a used aircraft. The pack is one signed file; unsigned or altered packs are refused. Remove it from the same page. Independent add-on by ClearedToCode.
