Requirements

Requirements - Windows 10 or 11. - Elgato Stream Deck software 6.9 or newer. - Stream Deck +, Stream Deck / MK.2 (15-key) or Stream Deck XL - ready-made profiles for all three are included. - Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 or 2024 (SimConnect is part of the sim). - vPilot for VATSIM voice and network. Nothing else - no bridge app, no SDK. - Internet access for the VATSIM data feed (ATIS letters, controllers on frequency). Install 1. Right-click the downloaded zip and choose Extract All. Keep the Stream Deck app open. 2. Run "ClearedToCode vDeck Setup.exe" - it installs the plugin and the profile for your deck. 3. Click Install / Import if Stream Deck asks (Windows may say "Windows protected your PC": More info -> Run anyway). 4. Pick the vDeck profile on your deck and start MSFS. Notes - The Comm Leveler sets COM1/COM2 volume in the sim, which vPilot follows. - Parking reads MSFS airport parking data; some third-party sceneries label spots differently. - If a display shows NO SIM, MSFS is not running yet - it reconnects on its own.

vDeck turns your Stream Deck into a VATSIM radio panel. Big, glowing COM1 / COM2 frequencies you can read from across the room, the live ATIS letter straight from VATSIM, a comm leveler to balance the two radios in your headset, and a readout of the gate you are parked at. From ClearedToCode.
vDeck is the VATSIM-only edition of FlightDeck SD. If you also fly SayIntentions.AI or BeyondATC, FlightDeck SD gives every ATC network its own colour-coded page on the same deck.
NOTHING ELSE TO INSTALL
vPilot has no API, so vDeck talks to MSFS directly over SimConnect (built in - no SDK, no bridge app) and reads VATSIM's public data feed. Tune a dial, the sim's COM changes, vPilot follows instantly. Works with vPilot, MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024.
STREAM DECK + AND REGULAR STREAM DECK
Stream Deck +: the four dials become COM1, COM2, ATIS and Comm Leveler with full-colour touch-strip displays. Regular Stream Deck, MK.2 and XL: the same displays on keys, with tune up/down keys for kHz and MHz. Ready-made profiles for all three are installed with the plugin.
WHAT YOU GET
- COM1 / COM2 Radio: active + standby, TX/RX badges, kHz or MHz step, and the callsign of the controller on your active frequency (PNS_APP, ORD_TWR...). Rotate = tune standby, press = swap, tap = change step, long-touch = load 121.500 / 122.800.
- Tune Step keys for regular decks (hold to repeat).
- ATIS: live letter for a station you pick or the nearest one to your aircraft. Flashes NEW when the letter changes. Press to drop the ATIS frequency into COM2 standby. Rotate the dial to browse nearby ATIS stations.
- Comm Leveler: one dial leans COM1 against COM2 volume, press to centre, tap to toggle receive-both.
- Radio Switch keys: transmit on COM1/COM2, receive toggles, swap.
- Frequency Presets: UNICOM, Guard, your home tower - one press.
- Parking / Position: the airport and the gate or ramp spot you are sitting on, read from the sim's own airport data. Switches to altitude / speed / heading once airborne.
- Auto-reconnect: displays dim to NO SIM when MSFS is closed and come back on their own.
INSTALL IN 30 SECONDS
1. Unzip and double-click Install-vDeck.cmd (or the .streamDeckPlugin file).
2. Click Install, then Install again when Stream Deck offers the vDeck profile for your device (Plus, 15-key and XL layouts included).
3. Open the vDeck profile, start MSFS. Done.
