Every PMDG airframe you fly now has a memory. PMDG Hangar runs next to MSFS 2020 or 2024 and keeps a record for each registration: hours, cycles, every part with its serial number and logbook, defects in a tech log, MEL deferrals with real due dates, scheduled checks, engine health and life-limited parts, and every flight you fly. How you fly decides what the aircraft is like on the next flight.
Try it free for 1 hour, then unlock it with your serial. One purchase, no subscription.
TECH LOG, MEL AND DISPATCH
- Defects open from wear, from how you fly, from your own crew reports, and from the failures the PMDG raises itself (read from its FAILED ITEMS page).
- Defer them under the MEL (cat B 3 days, C 10 days, D 120 days) or ground the aircraft. NO-GO items cannot be deferred. 244 items for the 737NG and 777, each with its own (M) maintenance and (O) operations procedure.
- Dispatch shows READY, CAUTION or NOT READY with the restrictions of every open item, plus a printable dispatch release.
REAL PMDG FAILURES
- When a part fails, PMDG Hangar sets the matching failure inside the PMDG through its own CDU failure pages (737: 230 failures, 777: 366, read from the real aircraft), on the CDU you pick - the one you are not using.
- One item at a time, cleared again after the repair. Never CLEAR ALL. If you are typing in that CDU, it waits.
- Early warnings first: an oil leak before the oil pressure goes, vibration before engine damage, a hydraulic pump leaking or running hot.
A WORN AIRCRAFT FLIES LIKE ONE
- Around 140 part types, each with its own life in hours, cycles, starts, landings and brake energy. The same flights on the same aircraft always end the same way.
- Worn engines push less: lost EGT margin costs thrust, so the autothrottle sets more N1 and burns more fuel (MSFS 2024).
- The fuel of your last shutdown goes back in through the aircraft's own FUEL page at a cold-and-dark load.
- Faults lead to others: a hydraulic leak left open drains the system until its engine pump cavitates, a bleed leak overheats the precooler, a clogged oil filter starves the oil pump. Deferring a leak does not stop it. Failed parts make the parts that take their load wear faster. The tech log says what fails next and when.
FLEET AND DISPATCH
- A dispatch board for every tail: READY / CAUTION / NOT READY, NO-GO, open and deferred items, the next check with its date from that tail's own use, engine LLP margin and this month's spend.
- The aircraft you load is NOT READY? The app names the ready tails of the same type.
- A hangar plan that fits the A and C checks of the next 60 days into your base hangar's slots, a monthly maintenance budget, and an optional shared spares pool for the whole fleet.
RECORDS
- Component logbooks: every serial number has one - installed, removed, repaired, early warnings and failures, with hours and cycles. TSI / CSI and life used. Removed parts keep their logbook.
- Engine life-limited parts: engine serials, cycles since new, disks, spools and shafts with cycle limits. A warning 300 cycles out, NO-GO at the limit; an engine change fits a spare with its own cycles.
- Generated documents for your airframe: AMM task cards, MEL procedures, fault isolation for the open defects, check task cards, return-to-service requirements, and an illustrated parts catalogue with exploded drawings.
- A condition report for every flight: the parts that aged most, before and after, what was used up and what broke.
IF THE SIM CRASHES
- A flight under way is saved every 30 seconds. If the sim stops in the air, the flight is kept: load the same registration within 12 hours, set it up where it was and start the engines, and the same flight carries on with its timeline and wear.
HOW YOU FLY COUNTS
- Hard, firm and overweight landings, tail strikes, flap and gear overspeeds, hot starts, EGT exceedances, takeoff thrust held too long, tailwind and crabbed landings, fast taxiing, hot brakes.
- Approach stability gates, go-arounds handled, a score for every flight.
PERFORMANCE
- Read the takeoff figures from the PMDG's own tablet calculator (needs Developer mode in the sim) and Send to FMC types them into TAKEOFF REF and N1 LIMIT.
- Landing distance with and without the open tech-log items, drawn to scale on your runway.
MAINTENANCE CONTROL AND CHECKS
- The maintenance desk (MCC) messages you about faults, trend alerts, inspections and planning. Your answer decides what happens: try a reset, defer, book a repair, request an inspection.
- Daily, weekly, A and C checks by calendar and flight hours. Overdue grounds the aircraft; checks do real work.
- Engine EGT margin trends, oil burn, borescope and engine wash; brake wear pins, tyre tread and tyre pressures that bleed down.
- Repeat-defect alerts, outstation repairs with parts lead times, return-to-service check flights, ETOPS limits on the 777, maintenance cost per airframe.
- Optional: the airline flies the aircraft while you are away (up to 30 days of line flying between sessions).
EVENTS, LIVERY AND FLEET
- Bird strikes, lightning, icing and heavy rain (off to frequent). Fire and smoke (opt-in): real PMDG engine, APU and cargo fire warnings.
- Your real livery with your registration, with dirt and paint wear. Wash and repaint from the app.
- Fleet page, pilot logbook, backup and restore, CSV export. Used airframes: start a registration 1-30 years old with history.
- MSFS toolbar panel and the MSFS 2024 EFB app: dispatch, MCC and the tech log inside the sim. A searchable guide and glossary in the app.
Aircraft: PMDG 737-600 / 700 / 800 / 900 / 900ER and PMDG 777-200ER / 200LR / 300ER / 777F.

Changelog
2.0.6 (October 26, 2026) · free update for every 2.0 tablet
- A flight you quit mid-climb or mid-cruise and load again at the departure is no longer carried on as one long flight: the stopped flight is logged as interrupted (with the time up to the stop) and a new flight starts. Reconnecting in the air, or after landing, still picks the flight up where it stopped. Thanks to netshadoe for the report.
- Flights page: "Discard it" drops a stopped flight from the log.
- Fleet page: "Remove" takes a stray or duplicate airframe off your fleet (never the one loaded in the sim). Thanks to djd565 for the request.
- In the Airline Hub Suite, the Virtual Airlines logo still shows when the Suite had to run Virtual Airlines on another port.
2.0.5 (October 25, 2026) · free update for every 2.0 tablet
- The MEL list and the MEL search show only the aircraft you have loaded: its own set's items and the inspections for its engine type. Items from your other sets no longer appear, and a write-up can no longer be filed under another aircraft's MEL item.
- CTC CDL comes with every tablet: the free in-tablet app for the Configuration Deviation List. The CDL items themselves come with the aircraft's set (the Fenix A320 set 3.1.0 today).
- Each airframe now has its own engine oil burn, EGT margin and hydraulic seal weep, and they change as the aircraft is used. A new airframe on the same registration no longer starts exactly like the last one.
- PMDG 777-200ER: with the PMDG 737 & 777 set 2.2.0, an existing 777-200ER record moves over to the PW4090 or Trent 895 aircraft instead of starting a new one. Thanks to Icemann for the request.
- Clearer wording for the MEL items the tablet writes itself.
2.0.4 (October 24, 2026) · free update for every 2.0 tablet
- A derated or assumed-temperature takeoff is no longer written up as takeoff thrust held over 5 minutes: the time now counts only while an engine is really at its takeoff rating. Thanks to MCAchief for the report.
- "Worn engines push less" no longer takes all thrust from a worn engine. Thanks to netshadoe for the report.
- No speed or g exceedances while the sim rate is changed, in slew, or after a position jump (no more overspeed write-ups under time compression).
- One load leaves one airframe: the registration no longer changes several times while the sim reports stand-in registrations first.
- PMDG 737 and 777: the CDU checks it really is on MENU before it looks for PMDG SETUP, and stops and says what it sees instead of paging through your CDU.
- Fenix A319 / A320 / A321 with IAE engines: no more false EGT write-ups (with the Fenix set 3.0.1). Thanks to ChaoticSilentReaper for the report.
2.0.3 (October 20, 2026) · free update for every 2.0 tablet
- With PMDG Hangar and CTC Aircraft Maintenance open at the same time, only one of them records an aircraft: the first one to open it. The other shows the same record and records nothing until the first one closes, so a flight is never logged twice. Thanks to netshadoe for the report.
- A setting changed in one of the two apps is no longer undone when the other one saves its settings.
2.0.2 (October 20, 2026) · free update for every 2.0 tablet
- PMDG Hangar and CTC Aircraft Maintenance can run at the same time on one PC. PMDG Hangar now has its own port (7385), so opening one no longer closes or replaces the other. Thanks to netshadoe for the report.
- The toolbar panel, the EFB app and the PMDG cockpit-tablet page find PMDG Hangar on its new port, and still find older versions.
- Settings > 737 FMC keys: Automatic, FANS 1/A or FANS 2/B, for the PMDG 737 with the FANS 2/B FMC. Automatic finds it by itself (also in the PMDG 737 & 777 set 2.1.1).
2.0.1 (October 20, 2026) · free update for every 2.0 tablet
- CTC Aircraft Maintenance and PMDG Hangar can both be registered on the same PC. Registering one no longer removes the other, and your current registration carries over without entering your serial again. Thanks to netshadoe for the report.
- Setup wizard: radio buttons and the checkbox keep their size in pop-ups.
- The failure scan waits for an aircraft that is still starting its systems (iniBuilds A380 and A350) instead of stopping.
- Life-limited parts that a set adds start at the engine's current cycles.
v2.0.0 (Tablet 2.0.0, Content 2.0.0)
- Free update for everyone who owns it: your serial keeps working, nothing to buy again.
- Built on the same engine as the other ClearedToCode tablets. Fixes now reach all four together.
- Two versions shown side by side: Tablet and Content (the PMDG 737 and 777 set).
- The PMDG set updates on its own, online daily or offline from a file. Updates apply on the ground only, with one-click rollback.
- The PMDG set carries both aircraft in full: variants, engines, systems by ATA chapter, limits, servicing, inspections and life-limited parts. The 737 and 777 limits now live in the set.
- New Aircraft page. Every page shows the aircraft's own engines, wheels, systems and names.
- The aircraft picture is the livery you're flying, taken from the sim, or your own picture.
- PMDG logo in the title bar.
- PMDG 777 fixes: FAILURES-menu lines are never taken as failures, Read gets back to the menu from the FIX INFO page, a short push of taxi thrust onto the stand no longer restarts the engine cooldown, and fuel restores log the real amount.
- Offline content file (all sets, install from file): https://github.com/tekkid2024/clearedtocode-downloads/releases/download/tablet-v2.0.0/ClearedToCode-Content-2.0.0.amm
v1.4.3
- With no failures set on a PMDG 777, PMDG Hangar no longer writes up the FAILURES menu's own category names (WARNING SYSTEMS, PNEUMATIC, MISCELLANEOUS and the rest) as failures the aircraft raised, and no more "Could not clear ... step 5 PROGRAMMED not found" messages at every power-up. The 777 shows "ACTIVE: (NONE)", which the app read too short and took for a failure count. The write-ups from earlier versions are removed from your tech log the next time the aircraft loads.
v1.4.2
- Loading a flight no longer counts as flying. While the sim loads it can report the aircraft as briefly airborne; PMDG Hangar now waits until the aircraft has been on the ground for a few seconds after loading before it watches a flight, so no phantom flight, cycle, hard landing or NO-GO inspection appears after loading.
v1.4.1
- Owner's manual: a 26-page PDF that explains every page and setting, with pictures. Open it from Documents > Guide or Settings > Support, or download it from the listing.
v1.4.0
- A fuller MEL: 244 items covering the 737NG and 777, each with its own (M) maintenance procedure and (O) operations procedure. Items that exist on one type only show for that type.
- Faults that lead to others: a fault left open keeps doing what it does in the real system - a hydraulic leak drains the system until its engine pump cavitates, a bleed leak overheats the precooler, a clogged oil filter starves the oil pump, a pack without flow control trips on overheat. Deferring it does not stop a leak. A dead probe heater ices its pitot in icing. Failed parts make the parts that take their load wear faster. The defect drawer says what fails next and in about how many flight hours.
- Fleet and dispatch (Fleet page): a dispatch board for every tail (READY / CAUTION / NOT READY, NO-GO, open and deferred items, next check with its date from that tail's use, engine LLP margin, this month's spend); the ready tails of the same type when the one you load is NOT READY; a hangar plan that puts the A and C checks of the next 60 days into the base hangar's slots; a monthly maintenance budget; and an optional shared spares pool for the whole fleet (Settings).
- Guide: new topics for failure chains and fleet and dispatch.
v1.3.2
- Fixed: with "Worn engines push less" on, the 737 could lose all thrust (no taxi, no climb). A worn engine now loses only its small share (at most a few percent) as intended.
- Fixed: the 737 APU did not count as running, so APU hours and starts never moved. PMDG Hangar now reads the APU switch and the APU GEN OFF BUS light.
- Fixed: with the FMC set to FANS 2B, PMDG SETUP sits one line lower on MENU and PMDG Hangar could not reach the failure pages. Both FANS 1A and FANS 2B work now.
- In-app updates work again without signing in or a serial (Tools > Updates). If you are on 1.3.0 and saw "HTTP 401", update from the app now.
- Thanks to the PMDG Hangar pilot who reported all four of these.
v1.3.1
- PMDG Hangar is now sold on clearedtocode.com ($24.95): a 1-hour demo, then a PMDGH serial unlocks it for good (Settings > License). Demo time only counts while a PMDG is loaded in the sim.
- Already using PMDG Hangar? On a PC that has PMDG Hangar records from before this release it stays free: no demo, no serial. Settings > License shows "Free on this PC".
v1.3.0
- Component logbooks: every part has a serial number and its own logbook (Documents > Logbooks): installed, removed, repaired, early warnings and failures, each with the airframe hours and cycles. TSI / CSI since installation and life used. A removed part keeps its logbook.
- Engine life-limited parts: each engine has a serial (ESN) and cycles since new; its disks, spools and shafts have cycle limits. A warning 300 cycles before the first limit, NO-GO at it. An engine change fits a spare with its own cycles.
- Session recovery after a sim crash: a flight under way is saved every 30 seconds. If the sim or the app stops in the air, the flight is kept: load the same registration within 12 hours, set it up where it was (the Flights page shows the last position, altitude, heading, speed and fuel) and start the engines, and the same flight carries on with its timeline and wear. Or close it as interrupted.
- Guide: new topics for the logbooks, LLPs and crash recovery, and new glossary terms (ESN, LLP, TSN / TSI, CSN / CSI, IPC).
v1.2.0
- The aircraft's own failures go in the tech log: what the PMDG raises itself (a tail strike, a burst tyre, its service-based failures) is read from its FAILED ITEMS page at load and after each flight, and written up under its MEL item. Fixing it on the tablet clears it in the aircraft.
- Worn engines push less: lost EGT margin costs a little thrust (about 1 % per 20 C, up to 6 %), so the autothrottle sets more N1 and the fuel flow goes up (MSFS 2024). Settings switch.
- Fuel back through the FMC: at a cold-and-dark load the fuel of your last shutdown is typed on the aircraft's own FUEL page (MENU > FS ACTIONS), since the PMDG ignores outside writes to its tanks.
- Performance page: read the takeoff figures from the aircraft's own tablet (V1, VR, V2, flaps, thrust, assumed temperature, trim, CG; needs Developer mode in the sim), then Send to FMC types them into TAKEOFF REF and N1 LIMIT. The landing distance is now drawn to scale on the runway.
- Flight condition report: every flight shows the parts that aged most (before and after), what was used up and what broke.
- The airline flies the aircraft while you are away (off by default): the days between your sessions, up to 30, are filled with line flying for the type. It stops when the aircraft is grounded.
- Sharing the CDU: when its scratchpad has text in it, the app waits and tries again; afterwards it goes back to MENU and clears any message it left.
- Documents > Guide: start here, every page explained, how the record works, a glossary, all searchable.
v1.1.0
- The maintenance tablet: new shell with Overview, Aircraft Status diagnostics dashboard, Systems schematics (hydraulic, fuel, electrical, pneumatic, environmental, ice / rain, landing gear), Engines (cutaways, live parameters, two-hour trends, EGT-margin health), Defects / MEL, Tasks, Documents (AMM task cards, MEL procedures, FIM, check cards), Illustrated Parts (exploded drawings)
- Diagnostics backend: per-system health, hydraulic model, engine trend recorder, parts store at base, part numbers
- In the sim: MSFS 2024 EFB app and PMDG cockpit tablet tile installers next to the toolbar panel (Setup page)
- In-app updater (Tools > Updates)
- Fixes: chart scales, paint wear sign, old-Chromium crashes in the sim panel, servicing refused in flight
v1.0.1
- Now free: no demo limit, no serial
v1.0.0
- First release: tech log + MEL, wear model, CDU-set PMDG failures, early warnings, scheduled checks, MCC, engine health, wheels and brakes, random events, livery card, fleet, logbook, MSFS toolbar panel
- Fire and smoke events (opt-in): real PMDG engine / APU / cargo fire and smoke warnings, discharged bottles
- 3-hour demo; serial from clearedtocode.com
