v1.4.1
Since 1.4.0 (2026-10-26). Also in the Airline Hub Suite 1.6.3.
- Maintenance stations: choose the airports where your airline does its checks. A heavy base does A- and C-checks, an A-check base A-checks, a line station overnight line work and MEL items, each with a number of hangar slots. Your hub starts as a heavy base; existing airlines also get their aircraft home bases as A-check bases.
- Maintenance routing: when an aircraft's A- or C-check comes due, Maintenance Control books it into the first long-enough stop at a station in its line of flying. If its own rotation never ends there, it swaps the rest of its day with a sister ship at an airport where both are on the ground, so the due aircraft overnights in the hangar city. Flights you fly yourself are never moved.
- A check that reaches its limit away from a station is still done, at outstation cost: contract technicians and a parts kit, about 60% more and half as long again.
- Line of flying: the Gantt shows booked checks. Book or cancel a check per aircraft, and swap two aircraft's lines by hand (in the Suite: CEO > Fleet).
- Hired from Pilot Life: a commercial pilot from Pilot Life joins an AI airline as Second Officer, with the sealed pilot record on the career card (same PC, or import the record file on another PC).
v1.4.0
Since 1.3.0 (2026-10-25). Also in the Airline Hub Suite 1.6.0.
- CDL in dispatch: the missing parts written up in your maintenance tablet's CTC CDL app (Configuration Deviation List; first aircraft: the Fenix A320 with set 3.1.0) come into Virtual Airlines on the aircraft they belong to, within a minute. The fleet board shows a MEL / CDL badge with the takeoff weight penalty.
- The flight release gets a CDL section: each open item with its placard and limits, lower maximum takeoff and landing weights from the CDL's weight decrements (with what to offload), and the CDL fuel burn increase added to trip fuel.
- CDL limitations are checked like MEL ones: no passengers, no flight into known or forecast icing, no thunderstorms and an overdue CDL item stop the release; gear-down and speed limits are warnings. A release is superseded when the open CDL items change.
- Refitting a part in the tablet books its refit cost to maintenance, and the CDL goes into the crew ops package and the first officer's printed release.
- The Discord link now points to discord.gg/MrcTkZ3YXq.
v1.3.0
Since 1.2.4 (2026-10-22). Also in the Airline Hub Suite 1.5.0.
- Pilot Life, chapter 1: start as a student pilot and train to the Private Pilot certificate under 14 CFR 61.109. Arm a lesson (pre-solo, first solo, dual and solo cross-country, night, instruments, tower solo, checkride prep), fly it in the sim with the Airline Hub Suite running, and it goes in your logbook when you are back on blocks. Hours come only from flights you fly.
- CheckRide is your instructor and examiner: a Satisfactory coach flight on the pre-solo, dual cross-country and prep lessons writes your 61.87, 61.93 and 61.109 endorsements. Every 61.109 requirement is tracked, with a knowledge test (70% passes) and the medical step. The practical test can be booked once everything is met; a pass issues your Private Pilot certificate.
- Night is real civil night at the aircraft, from the sim's own date and time, and towered fields come from the sim's own airport data. Pilot Life runs on real time.
v1.2.4
Since 1.2.3 (2026-10-22). Also in the Airline Hub Suite 1.4.4.
- FlightLinq pilots can set up from their VA pack: the set-up card asks for your name and FlightLinq pilot ID, and you join as yourself (before, it asked for a phpVMS API key and stopped).
- The dashboard names FlightLinq airlines correctly (it said phpVMS 7).
v1.2.3
Since 1.2.2 (2026-10-22). Also in the Airline Hub Suite 1.4.3.
- Established VA profiles run on real time: no time compression (the speed buttons are gone), and the clock catches up to the real time after the app was closed.
- A clock that ran ahead (time compression was on by default) comes back to today's date by itself, once no flight is in the air. Everything since the airline was set up keeps its order, anything still to come (MEL due dates, booked flights) keeps the time it had left, and your imported VA history is untouched. Career keeps its time compression.
v1.2.2
Since 1.2.1 (2026-10-21). Also in the Airline Hub Suite 1.4.2.
- MEL from your maintenance tablet: Virtual Airlines now reads the tech log of the aircraft loaded in PMDG Hangar or CTC Aircraft Maintenance once a minute and puts its open and deferred defects on the matching aircraft's MEL. Deferred items keep their category and time left, an open item that is not deferred makes the aircraft no-go, and items closed in the tablet come off. Matched by registration, or by the aircraft of the flight you are flying (then remembered), so FlightLinq tails like B738-1 work too. The tablet stays in charge of these items: defer, fix and close them there.
v1.2.1
Since 1.2.0 (2026-10-21). Also in the Airline Hub Suite 1.4.1.
- First run: picked Career or Established VA by mistake? Both start screens now have a Back button to "How do you want to fly?" (before, a profile could get stuck on Join an airline).
- FlightLinq: Book a flight now shows an Aircraft picker on every route (your searched type first, your last pick remembered), so Fly gives you the type you fly, e.g. B738 for the PMDG 737-800. Before, it always took the first type on the route.
v1.2.0
Since 1.1.0 (2026-10-20). Also in the Airline Hub Suite 1.4.0.
- SimBrief on Dispatch: Import latest SimBrief flight plan fills the flight from your newest OFP (route, aircraft, weights, fuel) and runs Operations Control's checks on it. The pilot tablet can import it too.
- Dashboard globe: opens zoomed in close on your aircraft, your next flight or your hub; zoom in and out with the wheel, a pinch or +/-, out to the whole globe turning on its tilted axis. Traffic shows the 20 aircraft nearest your hub (yours, SayIntentions, VATSIM or ADS-B) with their routes.
- Airport flight board: departures and arrivals for each of your stations, like a real FIDS.
v1.1.0
Since the 1.0.0 download (2026-10-13). Also in the Airline Hub Suite 1.3.0.
- Two ways to play, one profile each: Career (start as a Second Officer at an airline the game runs, fly the line, and reach Chief Pilot to found your own airline, with your record, logbook and savings carried over) or Established VA (your real virtual airline's data only: no cash, fares or company events, line maintenance stays). Switch profiles without a restart; your existing airline becomes your first profile.
- VA Bridge: bring an established virtual airline over from phpVMS 7, vAMSYS or FlightLinq without losing its website. Import pilots, fleet, timetable, hubs and PIREP history (re-import any time); pilots fly their bids here and every leg is filed back (phpVMS prefile, live ACARS and file; vAMSYS PIREP or claim for staff review). FlightLinq connects read-only with the owner's key: routes, fleet, roster, stats and leaderboards.
- Your VA tab: book a flight from the timetable, a live map of the VA's flights (also on the dashboard globe), news and NOTAMs, your rank, hours, points, badges and tours, and staff tools for vAMSYS (PIREP review, applications, roster). Every change to the VA asks first.
- VA legs on VATSIM and ACARS: the leg flies under the VA's callsign (Hoppie, SimBrief, the sim and the VATSIM prefile), an online check records the network, callsign and minutes online on the PIREP, and phpVMS gets the flight phases with ACARS log lines.
- Every flight counts: a settlement for each PIREP (fuel, crew, charges, handling, maintenance, carbon), a passenger survey that moves your reputation, EU/UK ETS and CORSIA carbon costs, the US DOT tarmac rule, honest books (capex, depreciation, insurance, EBITDA / EBITDAR / EBIT, CASM, RASM), fuel by station with tankering advice, ground handlers, de-icing with holdover times, insurance renewal and a recovery desk. IATA technical delay codes 42-45 and 47.
- Crew ops (in the Airline Hub Suite, with CTC CrossCheck): two pilots fly one of your airline's flights from two PCs. The Captain offers the flight and picks who flies the leg, the First Officer accepts it; both see the same dispatch package and release, the First Officer signs the briefing off, shared PF/PM checklists, and CPDLC answers and tech-log entries from the right seat. The Captain's airline files the flight; the First Officer's logbook gets the hours and sectors when their own block times match. No cockpit failures or real fires are set while two pilots fly.
- Line maintenance: every defect opens a work order with fault-isolation steps, B1/B2/A technicians on shifts, parts from station stock or AOG-shipped, MEL deferral and a CRS sign-off; a rushed repair can come back. Aircraft are serviceable, restricted or no-go, and a no-go aircraft is not released (Settings: enforce, the default, / warn / off).
- Technician tablet (/tablet/): badge login, fleet board, red tags and the work orders; it finds CTC Aircraft Maintenance on this PC by itself.
- Run the airline from a tablet or phone: scan the QR code in Airline profile > Tablets, then clock in with badge and PIN (CEO, Ops, Pilot or Tech).
- Safety: Airport Emergencies reports become real airline consequences (investigation by the state's authority, inspections and repairs, passenger care and EU261 where it applies, insurance, crew stand-down, regulator audits), with a Safety panel listing each occurrence and its plan.
- The airline learns from its own flying: defect odds per type and component, and which root cause each symptom turned out to be, from every flight and every repair (kept on this PC).
- A 3D globe in the middle of the dashboard with live real-world ADS-B traffic and live virtual airlines on VATSIM (with a warning when other pilots fly under your ICAO).
- Aircraft pictures are your own installed liveries; your airline logo on the printed release and kneeboard; real cargo clients favour liveries you have installed.
- L:vars over plain SimConnect: the MobiFlight WASM module is no longer needed (GSX and the rest). It stays optional, only to set Black Square tablet failures.
- Fix: clearing a Fenix failure now really clears it (before, it could set itself again).
v1.0.0
- First release.
