Requirements

Requirements - MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024 on Windows 10 or 11 (both pilots) - CrossCheck 0.3 or later on both PCs (0.4.0 on both for Put it in my SimBrief) - Over the internet: TCP 7821 open on the host's router (the app asks the router itself with UPnP, or forward it once) - A SimBrief account for the flight plan features (optional)

About this add-on

CrossCheck Shared Cockpit is FREE: no demo, no serial, no time limit. Both pilots install it and fly.
Two pilots on two PCs fly one aircraft in MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024: one flies, the other works the radios, the autopilot and the systems, and every switch moves in both cockpits.
- NEW in 0.4.3: nine more aircraft profiles: Black Square Caravan Professional, Commander 114 / 114TC, TBM 850, analog Baron 58 and analog A36 Bonanza, FlightFX Vision Jet, Just Flight F28, BlueBird 757-200 (both CDUs' keys included) and iniBuilds A350.
- NEW in 0.4.2: PMDG 777 (777-200LR / 777-300ER / 777F), shared through PMDG's own SDK: CrossCheck shows you the two lines to add to the 777's options file. Plus clearer help for internet sessions.
- NEW in 0.4.1: ready for Fenix 3.0. Every circuit breaker syncs under Fenix 3.0's new names, each MCDU and DCDU key press goes across as one press, the throttles follow the pilot flying, and the trim wheel is shared on the ground only.
- Captain and First Officer seats: host a session, send the code, your crew joins. A taken seat gets the other one, and a third person can ride the jumpseat (follows the flight, can't fly or move switches).
- PF or PM next to your seat shows who is flying; Take controls hands it over smoothly. If your connection drops, your seat is kept for 90 seconds.
- Sync SimBrief: either pilot presses it and the latest SimBrief plan goes to the other pilot and loads into MSFS on both PCs.
- Put it in my SimBrief: when the other pilot's plan arrives, click the notification and SimBrief opens with the same flight filled in under your own login. Press Generate, and your EFB / FMS (Fenix, PMDG, iniBuilds, the 2024 EFB) imports it like any other plan.
- Same network works straight away. Over the internet the app opens TCP 7821 on your router (UPnP), or forward it once; Connection... sets another port. If your internet provider shares one address between customers (CGNAT), CrossCheck tells you and the other pilot hosts instead.
- Every aircraft shares the stock controls (lights, gear, flaps, radios, autopilot). Helicopters share the collective, cyclic and pedals, plus the rotor brake, clutch and governor.
- Full profile: Fenix A319 / A320 / A321, ready for Fenix 3.0 (952 cockpit controls, every circuit breaker included).
- More profiles: Synaptic A220, Black Square Bonanza Pro and Turbine Duke, Flysimware Learjet 35A and Sierra C24R, SimFederation ERJ-145, HPG Airbus H135. Ask for your aircraft on our Discord.
- A tiny tray app (about 25 MB of memory) that can start and close with the sim. Installs per user, nothing in your Community folder.
Also part of the ClearedToCode Airline Hub Suite, which opens CrossCheck for you.
The installer isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may say "unknown publisher": More info > Run anyway.

Changelog

v0.4.3
- Nine new aircraft profiles, each sharing that aircraft's own switches, buttons and selectors: Black Square Caravan Professional, Commander 114 / 114TC, TBM 850, analog Baron 58 and analog A36 Bonanza; FlightFX Vision Jet; Just Flight F28 Professional; BlueBird 757-200 (overhead, MCP, pedestal and both CDUs' keys); iniBuilds A350.
- Where an add-on runs its own systems (lights, battery, fuel pumps, autopilot), its own switches are shared instead of the stock ones, so nothing is sent twice.
- Both pilots update to 0.4.3 for these aircraft; on an older copy they share the stock controls.
v0.4.2
- PMDG 777 (777-200LR / 777-300ER / 777F): overhead, MCP, pedestal and more shared through PMDG's own SDK. Add the two [SDK] lines CrossCheck shows you to the 777's options file on both PCs. Thanks toasterf16 for the request.
- Elevator trim: a profile can no longer share the elevator trim from both seats, so the two autopilots never trim against each other. Thanks toasterf16.
- Internet sessions: when the host's internet provider shares one public address between customers (CGNAT), CrossCheck says so (port forwarding can't work there; the other pilot hosts). A join that gets no answer now explains what to check. Thanks alanswift, Noaaa_16 and tomoka_327.
v0.4.1
- Fenix A319 / A320 / A321 ready for Fenix 3.0: every circuit breaker syncs under Fenix 3.0's new breaker names (324 breakers, 36 of them new), plus 3.0's PACK FLOW selector, the A321 FUEL ACT button and the EXIT / MID cabin calls. Both pilots need Fenix 3.0 for the breakers.
- Fenix MCDU and DCDU: each key press goes to the other PC as one press, and joining mid-flight never re-types what was entered before. Thanks alanswift for the report.
- Fenix throttles follow the pilot flying only, and the trim wheel is shared on the ground only (in the air each Fenix trims itself), so the trim wheel no longer shakes. Thanks alanswift.
- Sync SimBrief: if both pilots send a plan, the host's plan stays loaded on both PCs instead of the two swapping. Thanks alanswift.
- Both pilots run 0.4.1 for the Fenix key presses; a 0.4.0 pilot still connects.
v0.4.0
- CrossCheck is now free: the demo, serial and License button are gone.
- Put it in my SimBrief: the other pilot's plan opens in your own SimBrief, filled in, so your EFB / FMS can import it.
- The plan window tells you when both pilots have the same flight, each in their own SimBrief.
v0.3.4
- Sync SimBrief: one press fetches your latest SimBrief plan, shares it with the other pilot and loads it into MSFS as the sim's flight plan (world map and ATC) on both PCs
- Plan window: summary (callsign, route, alternate, FL, fuel, weights, runways), Copy route, Load into MSFS, Open OFP, Use this plan
- Add-on FMS and EFBs (Fenix, PMDG, iniBuilds) and the MSFS 2024 avionics still use their own SimBrief import, or paste the copied route
- Seat hold: if your connection drops, your seat is kept for 90 s so you can rejoin
- Both pilots need 0.3.4 for plan sharing (it still flies with 0.3.3)
v0.3.3
- Smooth control handover: no more jerk when passing controls. The pilot giving up control eases from its own position onto the stream over 1.5 s, and the pilot taking control starts from the newest streamed position and speeds
- Before you take: the window shows "set your throttle to N%" (the pilot flying's setting)
- Tip: centre your yoke and match the throttle before pressing Take controls
- Both pilots should update to 0.3.3 (it still flies with 0.2 and 0.3.x, but the smoothing needs 0.3.3)
v0.3.2
- Connection... button: choose the host port (default 7821) and turn automatic router setup (UPnP) on or off
- Join with a session code or straight with IP:port
- Clearer connection error messages
- Flies together with 0.3.1 (same crew protocol)
v0.3.1
- First release: shared cockpit for MSFS 2020 and 2024
- Captain and First Officer seats with a PF / PM label; if your seat is taken you get the other one; a third person can ride on the jumpseat
- Every aircraft shares the stock controls; helicopters share the collective, cyclic and pedals
- Fenix A319 / A320 / A321 profile (910 controls) and beta profiles for more aircraft
- Tiny tray app that can start and close with the sim
