Black Square Commander 114 & 114TC set - for CTC Aircraft Maintenance

One .amm file with two sets: the Black Square Commander 114 and the turbonormalized 114TC. Load either one and CTC Aircraft Maintenance recognises it from the sim's aircraft title, picks the right set and opens an airframe with everything the app does: tech log and MEL, part wear, scheduled inspections, stores, documents and the maintenance desk.

- Two Commanders, each with only what it has: the 114 (IO-540-T4B5D, normally aspirated, 17,400 ft) and the 114TC (turbonormalized to 18,000 ft, 25,000 ft ceiling) with its turbocharger and wastegate, air conditioning on its own 90 A alternator, and fixed oxygen.

- The whole aircraft as parts: about 100 per airframe under the Commander's own names - six cylinders, twelve plugs, two magnetos, the hydraulic gear powerpack and its three actuators, emergency extension, S-TEC 60-2 autopilot and programmer, JPI EDM-800, RNAV511, Stormscope, the CO detector and exhaust heat exchanger, gear lamps, door latches and the full radio stack - each one wearing with how you fly.

- Limits from Black Square's manual and files: Vne 186, Vno 148, Vle 130, Vfe 109 KIAS, +3.8 g, 2,700 rpm, 29.6 inHg (never boosted above), CHT 500 F, EGT and TIT 1,650 F, oil 245 F, shock cooling over 60 F a minute. Each is written up and wears the engine.

- The real inspection programme: 50-hour oil and filter, 100-hour and annual inspections, pitot-static and transponder checks, the IO-540 overhaul at 2,000 h, and the Commander 112 / 114 airworthiness directives under type certificate A12SO (wing spar AD 90-04-07, fin attachment fitting AD 88-05-06, elevator spar AD 2012-02-10 and the older ones).

- An MEL for every part: no FAA MMEL exists for the Commander, so each item is a FAR 91.213(d) deferral against the equipment list and FAR 91.205 - items needed for the flight are NO GO, the rest carry their real restrictions.

- Black Square's own engine health: engine damage, plug fouling, CHT, EGT, TIT (114TC), oil, manifold pressure, rpm, fuel flow and shock cooling read straight from the aircraft.

- In the aircraft: an engine that wears out can fail in the Commander, worn plugs foul it, and 36 circuits (38 on the 114TC) - starter, flaps, gear powerpack, gear and stall warning, fuel pump and gauges, engine instruments, lights, radios, autopilot and A/C - can fail through Black Square's own failure system.

SimConnect only, like every ClearedToCode product. Black Square's tablet owns some failures (magnetos, vacuum pump, governor, turbocharger, gear lamps, door latches) and rewrites them every 10 seconds, so the set keeps those in the tech log instead of fighting the tablet. The tablet's own failures and settings are never touched.

- Until a short ground check confirms the writes, the set only reads from the aircraft: failures are written up in the tech log and shown as pending instead of being set in the Commander. A set update switches them on.

- Weights, speeds, flaps and engine limits come from Black Square's files and manual. Part lives, check intervals and prices are estimates, marked "estimated" in the app.

2. In CTC Aircraft Maintenance open Tools › Aircraft packs, press Install .amm and pick the file. The app checks the set's signature and lists both Commanders.

3. Load the Commander 114 or 114TC. The app matches it and opens the airframe, or lets you start it as a used aircraft.
